Journalism & Media

As a journalist, Delaney Ross (née Chambers) demonstrated expertise in ownership over journalistic processes, focusing on the ability to learn and teach skills and tools. She is adaptable and experienced in multiple roles, a flexibility she is now applying to her new career as a PA.

Delaney last worked as the Director of Content Programming and Search at National Geographic, where she managed audience development and advised search and editorial strategy. At Nat Geo, she also ran a video team that created 101 videos, telling stories about the world, and edited, produced and analyzed all site content on weekends.

She also worked as a Product Manager at The Atlantic, where she lead cross-team collaborative efforts to build products that supplemented The Atlantic’s most important stories.

Her journalism career was defined by a passion for storytelling, a fascination that developed in her role as an Associate Producer at Al Jazeera, where she helped to produce a daily current events discussion show while also advising graphics and visuals for the team’s website and social channels. This experience makes her a proficient listener when communicating with patients in her current career as a PA.

As a student journalist, she led teams of up to 50 editors to spearhead production of a fortnightly newspaper, Palatinate
